Actium is a venture studio founded by Dante Lee. It designs, engineers, and operates software products end to end, and it backs companies the same way it builds: from the inside, with working code.

Dante Lee builds software that ships and keeps running. He came up through data engineering (the pipelines, automation, and reporting systems businesses quietly depend on) across manufacturing, higher education, healthcare, retail, and food and beverage, the kind of work that saves a team hundreds of hours a year.

His conviction, learned across all of it: the code is rarely the hard part. Most projects don't fail on implementation. They fail on the conversation before it. He's spent as much time understanding people and problems as building the systems that solve them, from enterprise organizations to local businesses where flaws and wins showed up immediately. That kind of fast feedback teaches you to make the right calls early, stay in scope, and spend energy where it counts.

Actium is that instinct given a structure: build what's worth building, back it with the work, and keep a stake in what it becomes.

Actium works with skin in the game: products of its own, and stakes in companies currently in development, announced when they launch. The portfolio grows when something ships, not before.

The practice is public: this site runs its own checks and publishes what it measures.

The companies Actium backs each began as a conversation with someone ambitious who needed an engineer. That door stays open: the studio collaborates beyond client work, and people who ship with it get named credit on the page their work lives on.
